Catherine Reidy is a quantitative researcher in the Office of the President and Eurasia Group's Comparative Analytics and Emerging Markets Strategy practice groups. She works directly with Eurasia Group's president, Ian Bremmer, to identify geopolitical issues, trends, opportunities, and risks created by political developments across the world, and to represent key stories through statistics and advanced data visualizations. Catherine also assists Eurasia Group's Africa practice with quantitative work on sub-Saharan energy markets and Lusophone economies, and she manages the firm’s Executive Training program with NYU Stern.
As a member of Eurasia Group's Comparative Analytics team, Catherine contributes to the firm's comparative research, including quantitative approaches to political risk. She has led the development of the Global Navigator, a systematic framework for analyzing business risks and opportunities across markets, as well as the GeoCyber Risk Index, a tool for multinational companies and financial services firms to monitor their global cyber-exposure.
Catherine holds an MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford, where she was a Clarendon Scholar. She holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame, where she majored in Psychology and Anthropology.
